US drone kills four in NWA (Pakistani source)
re killed when a US pilotless plane struck a house with missiles in Naurak village of North Waziristan Agency on Thursday.
Tribal sources said the CIA-operated drone fired two missiles at 1:25 am at a house of a tribesman named Musharraf in Naurak, 12 kilometres from Miramshah, the headquarters of North Waziristan, killing four persons.
The political administration confirmed the attack but denied any casualties. However, independent sources confirmed the killing.Unnamed security officials were quoted by the foreign and local media as claiming that those killed were militants.
Figures of six and seven casualties were also given by different media organisations. These reports also mentioned that some other persons were injured in the missile strike.Sources in the village, however, insisted that only four persons were killed. The names and identities of those killed weren’t available.
Villagers said two vehicles parked in the house were destroyed in the attack. The sources said the area was sealed off
